See - Snowflakes

He's been wanting to get at these snowflakes forever! We had them hung all around the house and today I took them all down and let him at them! He loved ripping them apart and I loved finally indulging him!

We are battling some eczema/dry cheeks this week. No fun - although I think it makes him look cute!

Harrison at Fifty-One Weeks

Monday, December 30, 2013

More ear infections this week - he had an allergic reaction to the abx before and I was trying to figure out what he was getting a rash from and quit giving him the abx around day 6 of 10. He seemed fine and happy, but then it got bad again this week and we brought him back in to the doc - still has a double ear infection. We are on our 3rd different abx with this kid, so much fun...

He has started to say "daddy" and "baby" - he seems to be experimenting with the eeee/y sound.  So fun to hear him start to say more and more words. He's hilarious when Dad gets home. He just sits with him and babbles non-stop and Jesse just talks to him. It's so funny to watch - it's like he's telling Jesse about his day or something.

We are working a lot on walking - we like to spend like 20 minutes at night having him walk between us. He tends to forget to move his feet as fast as he's moving his head and ends up launching himself forward - but we are still seeing so much progress from one day to the next. I am excited and nervous to have a little walker!

His birthday is next week and we are so excited! We have a fun party in the works and a birthday photo session! Because I take daily photos of him, I have neglected some of the more 'normal' photo sessions with him (and because the first 6 months I had limited space and we were living in a basement). I'm hoping we can get some good photos and that Jesse won't get too burnt out with helping!

He sits there and pulls everything out one by one. I think he thinks he's helping...

See - Christmas Day

Wednesday, December 25, 2013

Opa (Grandpa Joel) gave us a rocking horse for Christmas. Harrison has been scared to death of it until Christmas morning. All he wanted to do all day was ride on it!

Trains!

Harrison was a bit snotty and Jesse accidentally wiped it across his eyebrow - instantly making him a lookalike to his Uncle Mike.
Snuggling on the bed together.

New Shoes for Harrison!
