Create - Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever

Friday, September 6, 2013

My SIL's cookies are world famous, basically.  They are at least very famous in Upstate NY and probably parts of Utah, Washington, and a few other states.  Her secret - use the Large Scoop by Pampered Chef which holds 3 Tbsp's of dough.  I've also recently found out that OXO sells a similar scoop which you can find at Wegman's and most likely Walmart. Make sure it's the large one which runs a little under $10. Using the scoop creates a huge and perfectly shaped cookie every single time.  The recipe? Just one she found on AllRecipes.  I've never had a better, more perfect cookie. Don't undercook. There is a much better flavor if you make sure to brown these and the texture is fantastic - crispy but soft.  Yum!
